Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons gelatin powder
  • 3 tablespoons cold water

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  2. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, milk, and sugar. Heat over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, but do not allow to boil.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Add the bloomed gelatin to the cream mixture and stir until completely dissolved.
  5. Pour the mixture into serving cups and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
