- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 teaspoons gelatin powder
- 3 tablespoons cold water
- In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
- In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, milk, and sugar. Heat over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, but do not allow to boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
