Tiramisu Brownies

These Tiramisu Brownies combine the rich flavors of coffee and chocolate, making them a perfect treat for coffee lovers.

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter and granulated sugar until combined.
  4. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and brewed coffee; mix well.
  5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool completely before frosting.
  9. In a separate bowl, beat mascarpone cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  10. Spread the mascarpone mixture over the cooled brownies and chill before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, sprinkle cocoa powder on top of the mascarpone layer.
  • These brownies can be enriched with additional coffee liqueur if desired.
