- 4 pounds beef short ribs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup red wine
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- Season the beef short ribs with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the short ribs on all sides until browned.
