- 1 pound ground chicken
- 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 turkey bacon strips, cooked
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices pepper jack cheese
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cup lettuce
- 1/2 cup tomato, sliced
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, chipotle peppers, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Form the mixture into four patties.
- Grill or pan-fry the patties over medium heat for about 5-6 minutes per side, until cooked through.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of pepper jack cheese on each patty to melt.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or until golden.
- Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and topping with turkey bacon, avocado slices, lettuce, and tomato.
- Serve immediately.
