Small Batch Florida OJ Shrimp Boil

A delicious and easy way to enjoy shrimp with a vibrant twist of Florida orange juice.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups Florida orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 2 ears of corn, cut in halves
  • 1 pound baby potatoes

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine Florida orange juice, Old Bay seasoning, lemon, garlic, and onion. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes until just tender.
  3. Add corn and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Finally, add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Drain the pot and serve immediately with extra lemon slices.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes.
  • Feel free to substitute with other seasonal vegetables.
