Grilled Salsa Verde Pepper Jack Chicken

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup salsa verde
  • 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Brush the mixture over the chicken breasts.
  4. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
