Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup brewed espresso
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 sheets gelatin
  • pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Soak gelatin sheets in cold water until soft.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the espresso and brown sugar until dissolved.
  3. Add the spices and vanilla extract, then remove from heat.
  4. Squeeze excess water from gelatin and stir it into the warm espresso mixture until dissolved.
  5. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  6. Fold the cream into the espresso mixture gently.
  7. Pour the mixture into dessert molds and refrigerate until set.

Notes

  • For added flavor, garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg.
  • This dessert can be made one day in advance.
