- 1 cup sushi rice
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound salmon fillet
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then combine with water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt; heat until dissolved. Stir into the cooked rice and let cool.
