- 1 pound ground turkey
- 6 ounces turkey bacon
- 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then crumble and set aside.
- In the same skillet, brown the ground turkey until no longer pink.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the turkey and cook until the onion is translucent.
- In the crock pot, combine the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, elbow macaroni, cooked turkey, onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well to mix all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the macaroni is cooked.
- Stir in the crumbled turkey bacon before serving.
