Crispy Fish Sandwich with Sriracha Mayo Dressing

Ingredients

  • 2 fillets of white fish
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • 1 cup lettuce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl.
  3. Dip fish fillets in flour, then in egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Fry fish for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Mix mayo and Sriracha in a small bowl.
  6. Assemble the sandwich by placing fish on the bun, topping with Sriracha mayo and lettuce.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, double-dip the fish in the egg and breadcrumbs.
  • Adjust Sriracha for spice preference.
