  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 loaf of bread, cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble it.
  3. Sauté the onion and bell pepper in the bacon drippings until tender.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add the bread, cheese, sautéed vegetables, and bacon to the egg mixture and stir well.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 45 minutes until golden brown.
