- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
- Add the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract, and stir until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about halfway.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the cruffins are baking, mix together the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Once baked, remove the cruffins from the oven and immediately toss them in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, let the melted butter cool before adding it to the batter.
