Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
