- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup apple cider
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (for filling)
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, spices, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and butter until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, vanilla, and apple cider to the sugar mixture and mix well.
